How to list it on MarkMyProperty
Sign in and open the marking flow. These six screens take you from location to publication. You can go back to correct details before saving.
Step 1 of 6
Location: find the actual property
Search an address, area or landmark and select Find. Use Drop a pin for one spot, or Draw the boundary and tap the corners of a parcel. Check the position against the entrance and written address. A drawing helps explain location; it is not a surveyed boundary.
Step 2 of 6
Type: choose the offer
Choose the closest property type and select Rent it out. Identify whether you are offering a whole home, one apartment, a room or commercial space. Just mark it records a place; it does not advertise a tenancy.
Step 3 of 6
Details: explain the amount and space
Enter a positive monthly rent, currency, area and unit. Explain deposits and other charges separately in your description. Add actual bedroom and bathroom counts where relevant, and select furnishing only when you know what is included.
Step 4 of 6
Photos: show the offered property
Add current images you have permission to publish. Show the actual unit or parcel and its approach, rather than nearby scenery alone. Remove personal documents and sensitive details. The photo step lets you continue without images, but useful photographs help a reader understand the offer.
Step 5 of 6
Contact: identify the lister
Choose your actual listing role. Sell and Rent require a valid phone number or email in the private contact fields. Do not paste contact or identity documents into the public description. Interested people use the credit-based contact reveal workflow; a reveal is not verification.
Step 6 of 6
Publish: review visibility and the summary
Choose public visibility for public discovery, or private visibility for an owner record. Check purpose, map, price, currency, area and contact before saving. Open the resulting property page, then use My Properties to edit the existing record when the offer changes.
Have these details ready
- Whole property or specific unit clearly identified
- Monthly rent and currency
- Area and measurement basis
- Included facilities, furniture and separate costs
- Current availability and photographs
- Usable private contact phone or email
Identify the space a tenant would use
Select Rent in the marking flow and choose the closest property type. Explain whether the offer covers a whole home, an apartment, a room or commercial space. Identify shared facilities and included furnishings so the description does not promise an exclusive area that is actually shared.
Make monthly rent and other costs clear
The rental form requires monthly rent, currency and area with a unit. Explain deposits, utilities and other charges separately where applicable, and state what the area measures. If an arrangement uses another period, explain it clearly. Check local rules for terms and charges rather than treating the form as a tenancy contract.
Use accurate location and photographs
Place the marker at the actual property and check it against the written location. Explain entrances and access where needed. Upload photographs of the offered space, state any difference from what will be provided, and remove occupants’ personal information. Maps and photographs support discovery but do not verify ownership or condition.
Provide a private route for inquiries
Add a valid private phone number or email for the rental listing instead of pasting it into public text. Readers use the contact workflow to ask about availability, viewings and costs. Contact reveals use credits and are a connection service, not verification of either participant or a guarantee of a tenancy.
Update availability through My Properties
Review the page after publication. When details change, edit the existing property instead of publishing a copy. Change visibility or purpose when it is no longer offered for rent. You can switch a sale or marked property to Rent, or change Rent to Sell after reviewing the required details.
Keep tenancy decisions and costs separate
Marking and listing are free and MarkMyProperty charges no platform brokerage commission. Credits and optional plans have separate published pricing. Tenancy agreements, deposits, local requirements and professional fees are separate matters. Independently check identities, authority and proposed payments through appropriate local processes.
