What this data does and does not measure
Amounts are asking prices entered in listings, rather than completed-sale prices. The platform sample is not representative of every local housing market. Different currencies are kept separate, and we do not infer appreciation, safety, demand or legal ownership from map locations.
A global property price index is not published yet. It requires a dated baseline, repeated comparable observations and a reviewed methodology. Private Property Passports and owner contact details are excluded from public research.
For researchers and journalists
These public endpoints provide aggregate data and its definitions. Small samples return an insufficient-data status; unavailable or incomplete samples are not reported as zero-price markets.
