How to list it on MarkMyProperty

Sign in and open the marking flow. These six screens take you from location to publication. You can go back to correct details before saving.

  1. Step 1 of 6

    Location: find the actual property

Search an address, area or landmark and select Find. Use Drop a pin for one spot, or Draw the boundary and tap the corners of a parcel. Check the position against the entrance and written address. A drawing helps explain location; it is not a surveyed boundary.

  2. Step 2 of 6

    Type: choose the offer

Choose the closest property type, then Just mark it, Sell it or Rent it out. A marked record is a location record; Sell and Rent describe an offer. You will choose public or private visibility separately at the final step.

  3. Step 3 of 6

Details: explain the amount and space

Enter a positive asking price or value, currency, area and unit. Explain what the area measures and where it comes from. Add an original title and description, and actual room and furnishing details where relevant. Review any area prefilled from a drawing before continuing.

  4. Step 4 of 6

    Photos: show the offered property

Add current images you have permission to publish. Show the actual unit or parcel and its approach, rather than nearby scenery alone. Remove personal documents and sensitive details. The photo step lets you continue without images, but useful photographs help a reader understand the offer.

  5. Step 5 of 6

    Contact: identify the lister

Choose your actual listing role. Sell and Rent require a valid phone number or email in the private contact fields. Do not paste contact or identity documents into the public description. Interested people use the credit-based contact reveal workflow; a reveal is not verification.

  6. Step 6 of 6

Publish: review visibility and the summary

Choose public visibility for public discovery, or private visibility for an owner record. Check purpose, map, price, currency, area and contact before saving. Open the resulting property page, then use My Properties to edit the existing record when the offer changes.

Have these details ready

  • Location on the map
  • Property type, purpose and visibility
  • Positive price or value and currency
  • Area, unit and measurement basis
  • Original description and current photographs
  • Private contact phone or email for sale or rent

One location, three purposes

Mark a place when you want a location record. Choose Sell for an offer to purchase, or Rent when you are looking for a tenant. Purpose and visibility are separate: choose public visibility for discovery, or keep a record private through your owner account. A marked record is not automatically a sale or rental advertisement.

Show where the property actually is

Find the location in the map picker, drop a pin or draw an outline, and compare it with the address details. This helps explain an unfamiliar locality or plot. Pins and user-entered boundaries communicate location; they do not establish ownership, surveyed extent or permitted use.

Make the offer understandable

Select the property type, add its price or estimated value with a currency, and enter area with a unit. These values are required even for a marked record. The rental form asks for monthly rent. Explain what the area measures, add an original description and upload photographs you have permission to publish.

Use a private contact route

Sale and rental listings need a valid private phone number or email. Keep these details out of public titles and descriptions. Interested people use the platform contact workflow. Contact reveals use credits; they connect people but do not certify ownership, availability or transaction safety.

Publish once, then keep the page current

Review the summary, publish, and check the public property page. Share that URL when appropriate. Use My Properties to update the listing instead of creating copies. You can change a marked property to sale or rent and switch between sale and rent after reviewing the required details.

Know which costs are separate

Property marking and listing are free, and MarkMyProperty charges no brokerage commission on your transaction. Contact reveals and optional services use the published credits and plans. Local transaction costs, taxes and separately hired professionals are separate. Publication does not guarantee buyers, tenants or search rankings.
