What discovering or advertising a property on MarkMyProperty establishes

A dated reading of the public MarkMyProperty pages: who operates the site, what a map discovery or a sale or rental advertisement shows, and what a pin or contact reveal does not prove.

By MarkMyProperty · Updated

Who operates the website

MarkMyProperty (markmyproperty.com) is the property-mapping platform operated by MMYP TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Head office: Delhi NCR, India. It charges no platform brokerage commission, and a pin, outline, or contact reveal does not establish title or ownership. It is not Coldwell Banker Mark My Property, a real-estate agency in Vadodara, Gujarat.

On 31 October 2026 the contact page and the About page both named MMYP TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, support@markmyproperty.com, and a head office in Delhi NCR, India. The same About page still included two phrases this guide does not adopt: “verified local brokers” and “exact boundary.” Help, the property map, the methodology page, and the free listing page, read the same day, already describe a pin or outline as a location a person entered.

What you can discover on the map

The property map page says you can explore submitted locations, compare sale and rental offers, or record a place with a pin or a user-drawn outline. It also says to check the listing details to understand what each record describes. Clusters show how many properties are nearby. Opening one shows its price, photos, and details. “Search this area,” described on the help page, refreshes the listings for the area you are looking at.

Only published, visible properties appear publicly on the map. A private mark is a personal record. A public mark is still not a sale or rental offer. On 31 October 2026 the property map page said “Countries represented in public records (35)” and showed “IN · 742” among the counts. The page says those counts come from the latest loaded public inventory, including marked places and submitted sale or rental records, and that they do not confirm current availability. A later visit can show different counts. The methodology page says a country count is not the number of properties in the whole country.

What an advertisement adds

The free listing page says you can record a property, offer it for sale, or advertise it for rent without a MarkMyProperty brokerage commission. The listing flow separates “Just mark it,” “Sell it,” and “Rent it out,” and it separates that choice from public or private visibility. A sale or rental advertisement needs a private phone number or email. Those details stay out of the public title and description.

The same page says publication does not guarantee buyers, tenants, or search rankings. The marketing guide, also live on 31 October 2026, says a public listing does not guarantee indexing, a particular number of inquiries, or a completed transaction. Featuring a listing is a separate paid boost. The credits page says relevant results still come first and that featuring is a boost, not a guarantee.

What a pin or a contact reveal does not establish

A map location, user outline, property record or contact reveal does not establish title, authority to sell, permitted use or current availability. MarkMyProperty charges no brokerage or commission on a deal. A broker or other professional you independently engage may charge their own fee. MarkMyProperty does not verify that a broker is licensed.

The property map page says a drawing is not an official survey, and that a contact reveal connects people and does not verify identity, ownership, or a transaction. The listing page says pins and user-entered boundaries communicate location and do not establish ownership, surveyed extent, or permitted use. It also says a contact reveal uses credits and does not certify ownership, availability, or transaction safety. Help says the lister may be an owner, broker, developer, or another representative, and that contact access does not verify their authority or the property’s availability.

The methodology page says a public listing describes what its contributor supplied. Its presence on the website does not independently establish legal ownership, surveyed boundaries, approval for a particular use, or the right to sell or rent it.

What the credits page showed on 31 October 2026

Help says searching, the property map, marking, and listing are free, that contact reveals use MMP Credits, and that featured placement and MMP Pro are separate paid services. Check the amount shown before you pay. The figures below are what the credits page displayed on 31 October 2026, not a promise that the same amounts will be there later. Both views said a new account includes 100 free credits, that revealing a lister’s contact costs 10 credits, that viewing a contact already unlocked is free, and that credits do not expire.

Does advertising a property make MarkMyProperty the broker?

MarkMyProperty charges no brokerage or commission on a deal. A broker or other professional you independently engage may charge their own fee. MarkMyProperty does not verify that a broker is licensed.

Is a public map pin the same as a sale or rental advertisement?

No. A marked record is a location pin or an outline entered by a user. It is not an offer to sell or rent unless the lister chooses Sell or Rent and publishes it with public visibility. Only published, visible properties appear on the public map.
