How to market your property online without platform brokerage

Build a useful public listing, share one accurate property page, improve weak details and manage owner inquiries without paying MarkMyProperty brokerage commission.

Make the listing useful before distributing it

Marketing starts with a page that can answer a visitor’s questions. Confirm the purpose, location, amount, currency and size. A link to a vague advertisement simply spreads the same uncertainty to more people. Explain the offer clearly, include current photographs, and identify any important costs or included items.

Public visibility matters on MarkMyProperty. A private location record is useful to its owner, but is not a public advertisement. Select Sell or Rent for a marketed offer and supply a valid private contact route. Check the page after publishing so you share the public property URL rather than an editing or account URL.

Use one current property page as the reference

Share the published URL with people or communities where property posts are welcome. Give a short, factual introduction describing the offer and place, then let the property page carry the full information. Follow the community’s rules, disclose your relationship to the property, and avoid posting the same advertisement repeatedly.

If an external service permits advertising, keep the asking amount, purpose and availability consistent across channels. Update or remove stale advertisements when the offer changes. Avoid purchasing links, fabricating reviews or making up buyer interest: those tactics undermine the evidence readers need to decide whether to contact you.

Help readers locate and compare the offer

Check that the pin agrees with the written location. Add practical directions to the entrance when the address alone is not enough. A property map can give context to an unfamiliar buyer, especially for land or an international search, but it cannot establish ownership or replace a survey.

Choose the closest supported property type and state the area’s measurement basis. If you mention a landmark or neighbourhood, explain its relationship to the property accurately. Copying popular place names into a description does not make the location more useful and can attract inquiries from people seeking a different area.

Treat inquiries as feedback about the page

When the same question appears repeatedly, answer it in the listing. Clarify whether an offer includes furniture, whether the area is a plot or interior measurement, and what the monthly rent includes. Respond with current facts and viewing arrangements instead of pressuring a reader to pay before checking the property.

Keep private records of useful questions and outcomes without publishing personal conversations. A click, a revealed contact and a qualified inquiry are different events. More views do not automatically mean more suitable buyers. Look for whether inquiries match the property’s purpose, location and stated amount.

Understand costs and maintain availability

MarkMyProperty does not charge a brokerage commission on your property transaction. Contact reveals and optional services use the published credits and plans. If you separately use an agent, legal adviser, photographer or another service, their charges are separate. Do not describe a zero-platform-commission listing as a transaction with no possible costs.

Edit the existing listing when its amount, details or purpose changes. If the property is no longer available, change its visibility or purpose through My Properties. A well-maintained record is more useful than several old copies, and avoids drawing inquiries to an offer you can no longer provide.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I advertise my property without brokerage commission?

MarkMyProperty lets you publish an owner property listing without platform brokerage commission. You can share its public URL through channels that permit property advertisements. Credits and optional services have separate published pricing.

Does posting a property guarantee Google rankings or leads?

No. A complete public listing helps people understand the offer, but publication does not guarantee indexing, rankings, a particular number of inquiries or a completed transaction.
