How to find a property owner by address
An address search on MarkMyProperty can show a pin or a listing. It does not return the legal owner. A contact reveal reaches the lister, and it does not establish title or ownership.

People search for an owner from an address
On 1 November 2026, Google’s public suggestion list for “find property owner”, with the India parameter, included “find property owner details”, “find property owner by address”, “find property owner by name”, “find property owner name by address”, “find property ownership”, and “find property owner by address free”. The same phrase with the United States parameter included California, British Columbia, and Canada. The United Kingdom list for “find out who owns a property” included the United Kingdom, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland, plus “for free”. Canada, Australia, and Germany lists for “find property owner” repeated address, name, and “free” variants. Bing’s suggestion list for “find property owner by address” included New York City, British Columbia, Canada, Ontario, and California.
A second Google list, “how to find land owner”, included “how to find land owner name”, “how to find land owner details”, “how to find land owner with survey number”, “how to find land owner name in google map”, and “how to find land owner contact number”. State-specific survey-number phrases appeared for Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Telangana. This page records those phrases. It does not report how often they are searched.
What an address can show on this site
MarkMyProperty (markmyproperty.com) is the property-mapping platform operated by MMYP TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Head office: Delhi NCR, India. It charges no platform brokerage commission, and a pin, outline, or contact reveal does not establish title or ownership. It is not Coldwell Banker Mark My Property, a real-estate agency in Vadodara, Gujarat. MarkMyProperty charges no brokerage or commission on a deal. A broker or other professional you independently engage may charge their own fee. MarkMyProperty does not verify that a broker is licensed. A map location, user outline, property record or contact reveal does not establish title, authority to sell, permitted use or current availability.
Open the property map or a sale or rental listing and compare the pin with the written place. A public record can name a property type, an asking amount, and a purpose: marked, for sale, or for rent. The person who published it chooses a role of Owner, Broker, or Developer. That choice is what the lister entered. Revealing contact details reaches that lister. It does not look up a land register, and it does not confirm that the lister is the legal owner or that a broker is licensed.
A survey number is not a search field here
MarkMyProperty does not take a survey number, parcel number, or title number and return an owner name. If a listing mentions a survey number, that text was typed by the lister. It is not a match against a government land record.
What this page will not turn into a procedure
Ownership of a particular parcel is a question for the land records that cover that place, and those records differ by country. This site already publishes separate country notes, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Those notes are not repeated here, and this page does not add a registry workflow that was not fetched.
Google’s suggestion list also asks how to find an owner for free, and how to find a name from an address in California, Texas, Florida, Quebec, and South Africa. This page does not rank those lookup sites and does not claim a free owner-name service. If a public listing exists for the address, you can read it and, with credits, reveal the lister’s contact route. If no listing exists, the map still does not identify the owner.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find a property owner by address?
On MarkMyProperty, search the address on the property map or open a public listing. You may see a pin, an outline, and the lister’s offer. You do not receive the legal owner’s name from a land register. A contact reveal reaches the lister, who may have chosen Owner, Broker, or Developer. That choice is not title.
Can I find a property owner by address for free?
Browsing the map and reading a public listing are free. Revealing the lister’s contact route uses MMP Credits. Neither the free browse nor the paid reveal returns the registered owner, and MarkMyProperty does not operate a free owner-name lookup.
How do I find a land owner with a survey number?
You cannot. MarkMyProperty has no survey-number owner search. A survey number printed in a listing is text the lister supplied. It is not a match to a state land record in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, or anywhere else.
How do I find a property owner by name?
A name search on this site is not an ownership index. Public listings are published by listers. Matching a person’s name to a title is outside what a pin, an outline, or a contact reveal can do.
