The questions mixed houses, cars, and portals
On 1 November 2026, Google’s “what does sale pending mean” list included a house, a car, a named carmaker, a dealership, real estate, a portal name, and a listing. “What does contingent mean in real estate” included listings, “vs pending”, sales, “vs under contract”, a house, and a forum phrase. Bing added sale, deal, show, and non-contingent.
No MLS glossary and no portal help page was opened. Car and dealership phrases are not property listings on this site.
Purposes are marked, sale, or rent
MarkMyProperty (markmyproperty.com) is the property-mapping platform operated by MMYP TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Head office: Delhi NCR, India. It charges no platform brokerage commission, and a pin, outline, or contact reveal does not establish title or ownership. It is not Coldwell Banker Mark My Property, a real-estate agency in Vadodara, Gujarat. MarkMyProperty charges no brokerage or commission on a deal. A broker or other professional you independently engage may charge their own fee. MarkMyProperty does not verify that a broker is licensed. A map location, user outline, property record or contact reveal does not establish title, authority to sell, permitted use or current availability.
A public listing is a marked property, a sale, or a rental. There is no Sale pending status and no Contingent status. If a description contains those words, they are the lister’s words, not a platform state and not a checked contract. Under contract is the same: text, not a status. Changing availability means editing the purpose or visibility. The product does not move a listing through pending stages.
A portal name in the list is not this product
Suggestion lines named other websites. Their labels are not imported. Read the purpose on the MarkMyProperty listing in front of you.
What the words would not prove even if typed
Typed status words do not prove a buyer, a deposit, or that the property is off the market. Contact reveal reaches the lister. It does not establish title or that a sale has completed.
