Room and PG are searched as their own phrases

On 1 November 2026, Google’s “room for rent” list with the India parameter included Noida, Lucknow, Dehradun, Delhi, Indore, Chandigarh, and Mohali, plus “near me” and a film. The United States list included New York City, San Diego, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, San Jose, and San Francisco, plus a film and a book. “PG for rent” with the India parameter included Bangalore, Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Mohali. Bing’s PG list added Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kochi, Gurugram, Taramani, Navi Mumbai, and a phrase about an employer campus in Bangalore.

“What is PG in rent” suggested city phrases such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon, Chennai, and Navi Mumbai. It did not return a price. This page does not state a PG rent for any city.

There is no Room type and no PG type

Choose House or Apartment, or another real type, for the building, and write that the offer is one room, a shared flat, or a paying-guest bed. Do not title a room as the whole home. Say which kitchen, bathroom, and furniture are shared. The rental checklist already asks for that split. This page answers the search phrase. A film and a book also use the words “room for rent”. They are not listings.

PG is the lister’s description

Paying guest is not a button. If the lister writes PG, readers see that text. It does not set food, curfew, or visitor rules, and it does not prove the lister is the landlord. Ask the lister. The role Owner, Broker, or Developer is still not title.

What a renter can compare

Compare rent period, what is shared, and the written place. A pin on the building does not show the room. Availability is a question for the lister. Contact details are revealed with credits and are not proof the person can grant the stay.
