Coverage: Monaco. The public-service page on registration duties, updated 28 July 2026, and the Legimonaco news of 18 July 2023 on Law No. 1.548 of 6 July 2023, both fetched on 2 November 2026. This is not the commercial-premises guide.
The search is droits d’enregistrement on a sale
On 2 November 2026, the public-service page Droits d’enregistrement was fetched. Its update date on the page is 28 July 2026. It says registration duties are charged, when an act is registered, on transfers and on civil or judicial acts. Notarial acts are subject to registration, with mandatory time limits. It says duties are proportional or fixed, and that the fixed duty is generally 10 euro. In the list of commonly used rates it prints 6.5 percent on sales of immovable property and a transcription duty of 1 percent on transfers of immovable property.
The same page then says Law No. 1.381 of 29 June 2011 was intended in particular to change the tariff on sales of immovable property, which it prints as 6.5 percent, and the transcription duty, which it prints as 1 percent. It says sales of real estate made in favour of persons meeting the transparency criteria stated by the law are now subject to a proportional duty of 4.5 percent, instead of 6.5 percent. In other cases, it says those transactions are subject to a proportional duty of 7.5 percent. On transcriptions, it says a fixed duty of 10 euro replaces the proportional duty of 1 percent, while a transfer that is subject to value-added tax remains subject to the 1 percent duty.
The 2023 news prints different figures
The Legimonaco news published on 18 July 2023, also fetched on 2 November 2026, concerns Law No. 1.548 of 6 July 2023. It says that law changes provisions of the registration-duty laws, including Law No. 580 of 29 July 1953, Law No. 223 of 27 July 1936, articles 13 to 15 and 31 to 33 of Law No. 1.381, article 21 of the Sovereign Ordinance of 29 April 1828, and articles 1 to 3 of Law No. 842 of 1 March 1968. It says the fixed registration duty is raised to fifty euro, from ten euro. It says the applicable proportional rate is raised to 4.75 percent, from 4.50 percent, for natural persons and companies described as transparent. For transfers of rights and property applicable to companies described as non-transparent, it says the rate is raised to 9.50 percent. The public-service page updated on 28 July 2026 does not print 4.75 percent, 9.50 percent, or a fixed duty of fifty euro. This page does not choose between those two official texts.
MarkMyProperty is operated by MMYP TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Head office: Delhi NCR, India. It charges no platform brokerage commission. A pin, a user-drawn outline, or a contact reveal does not establish title or ownership.
Those sentences are those two official pages. They are not the commercial-premises guide, which was not rewritten. A pin or a contact reveal does not establish title, and a sale price is not by itself the duty base when the page uses a different value. This page does not set out a registration.
