The phrase travelled with owner and place names
On 1 November 2026, Google’s “fixer upper for sale” list included “by owner”, Fairhope, Jamaica, Tucson, Trinidad, Cape Town, and Scotland. Bing added Bermuda, Norcross, Washington, a UK portal, another portal, Barbados, Clarksville, Harrison County, and Erie.
No renovation cost is taken from those lists. Portal names are not this site.
Use the real type and describe the condition

There is no Fixer upper type. House, Apartment, or another matching type, plus Sell it, is the listing. Write the condition in the description if you are offering a home that needs work. Those words are not a survey, not a structural report, and not a quote for repairs. New Construction is a different type for a new-construction listing, not a synonym for a fixer. “By owner” selects the Owner role and does not prove title.

What a buyer should still ask
