Denmark property guide
Denmark: the registration fee on a change of owner
The 2026-2 legal guide says registration of a change of owner of real property costs a fixed fee of 1,850 kroner plus 0.6 percent. A tingbog easement search is a different check.

Coverage: Denmark. The Danish legal guide, Den juridiske vejledning 2026-2, sections E.B.3.1.2.1 and E.B.3.1.2.2, fetched on 2 November 2026. It is not the tingbog easement guide.
The search is tinglysningsafgift on a house purchase
On 2 November 2026, section E.B.3.1.2.1 of Den juridiske vejledning 2026-2 was fetched. It says that on registration of a change of owner of real property, the fee is calculated under section 4 of the Registration Fee Act. The fee has two parts: a fixed fee of 1,850 kroner, and a variable fee of 0.6 percent of the fee base. The same rule applies to registration of a conditional change of owner. The later final entry of the ownership in the land register is then free of the fee, under section 8 of that Act.
Section E.B.3.1.2.2 of the same 2026-2 guide says that, for a free-market transfer of an owner-occupied home under section 4 of the Property Valuation Act, and for a free-market transfer of other property, section 4(1) uses the transfer sum in every case. For a transfer that is not at arm’s length, section 4(2) starts from the transfer sum, except where that sum is less than 80 percent of the latest published property valuation, in which case the fee is calculated on 80 percent of the valuation. The section says preliminary valuations are not used for that 80 percent threshold.
The fee is the registration charge
The rate section points to other parts of the guide for transfers that attract only the fixed fee of 1,850 kroner, and for transfers that are entirely free of the fee. This page does not copy those lists.

Those sentences are those two sections of the 2026-2 legal guide. They are not the tingbog easement guide, which was not rewritten. A pin or a contact reveal does not establish title. This page does not set out a registration.
