Rent phrases named different cities from the sale guide
On 1 November 2026, Google’s “independent house for rent” list with the India parameter included Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Chennai, Dehradun, Noida, Gurgaon, and Greater Noida. Bing added a park, a school, a metro station, Udupi, Mysore, and Karachi. “Kothi for rent” with the India parameter included Noida, Mohali, Patiala, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Faridabad, and Dehradun.

House plus Rent it out, and write the local word

There is no Independent house type and no Kothi type. House is the type when the offer is a house. Choose Rent it out. Write independent house or kothi in the description if that is the word you use. Say whether the whole house is offered. A pin on the plot does not prove a separate entrance. “Near a metro” is suggestion text, not a measured walk.
One house can still be only a floor
If the offer is one floor, say so. Do not leave a reader to treat a floor as the whole kothi. Builder floor remains a different phrase with its own sale guide.
What the rent does not prove
Owner, Broker, and Developer are roles. Contact reveal does not establish title or that the house is vacant.
