Sale and rent are both in the suggestion lists
On 1 November 2026, Google’s suggestion list for “commercial property for sale”, with the India parameter, included Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore, and Kolkata, plus Texas, California, and “near me”. The United States list for “commercial real estate for sale” included Texas, California, St Louis, New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and Dallas. The United Kingdom list for “commercial property to rent” included London, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Birmingham, and also Cape Town. The United Arab Emirates list for “commercial property for sale” led with Dubai and then mixed in cities outside the UAE. Bing’s sale list included “by owner”, “or lease near me”, the United Kingdom, and Chennai, along with many Washington state place names.
“What is commercial property” suggested insurance, management, coverage, development, interest rates, tax, and law. This page does not explain commercial property insurance or commercial property tax. Those phrases were suggestions, not sources.
Offices and shops are not the same group as commercial land

In the marking form, Office, Retail, Shop, Warehouse, Hotel, Restaurant, Hospital, School, Commercial Building, and Mixed Use are commercial types. Search files them under Commercial. The homepage has a Commercial chip for that group. Commercial Land is filed with plots, not with those buildings. Industrial Land, Factory, and Industrial are a third group. A shop should not be tagged as industrial land, and a land parcel should not be tagged as a shop, if you want the search group to match the offer.
Rent and sale use different purposes
Choose Sell it or Rent it out. A commercial property to rent in London or Manchester is a rental purpose, not a sale with the word rent in the title. State the rent period in the description so the amount can be read. The amount is the lister’s asking figure.
What the listing cannot tell you about an investment
An existing article on this site lists commercial property among ways people invest. That article does not calculate a yield, and a commercial listing does not either. Fit-out, utilities, access, and which charges are included have to be written by the lister or asked later. Permitted use is not inferred from the word commercial.
The lister may be an owner, a broker, or a developer. Contact reveal reaches the lister. It does not establish authority to sell or to let, and it does not verify a licence.
