On 1 November 2026, Google’s “barndominium for sale” list included Texas, California, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Bing added Washington, Missouri, North Carolina, a portal, Arkansas, Florida, and Michigan. “What is a barndominium” asked for a home, a kit, a cost, what it is made of, a shell, a style, how it is classified, and Canada. “Log cabin for sale” included Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Wisconsin. “A frame house for sale” included Michigan, Wisconsin, Oregon, upstate New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Colorado, and Indiana.
